Extremely rare and collectable piece part of the Rive Gauche legacy. Created as part of the 1969 ready to wear collection that featured pieces inspired by military uniforms, later called the 'saharienne' and so forth.
Yves himself wore the khaki version to the opening of the Rive Gauche store in London in September 1969.
Button up jacket that initially featured a placket and was later converted into a fully buttoning jacket by a talented tailor, the work is excellent. Four pockets with flaps and buttoned cuffs. Functions as a dress too depending on your height.
Label has wear in an area but intact.
Model is 175cm tall and wears a French 34/36.
