A Saint Laurent staple, the tuxedo jacket and trouser set. This is from around 1986 according to my research.
The jacket is beautifully tailored to fit and cinch at the waist. Shoulders are heavily padded and it has silk satin lapels. Made out of a wool fabric. Two pockets that are functional. Jacket lining has been restored by me in places where it was losing strength.

The trousers have the typical satin stripe on each side and double front pleats. Cut to perfection, as all vintage YSL trousers are. Straight leg.
