Yves Saint Laurent Tortoiseshell 1976 Bug Eye Sunglasses

Ultra 70s bug style sunglasses released by Yves Saint Laurent for the summer of 1976, the collection that precceded the Ballets Russes. Model number 545.

The sunglasses have become a sort of cult item amongst YSL collectors, having been featured in that years fashion publications, see last photo.

Features a mottled tortoiseshell pattern made of acetate. Comes with original fabric sleeve embossed with YSL stamp. It has been professionally restored with lambskin piping.

One of the arms is bent more than the other which can be easily taken to a professional optician and have reset to your head shape if needed.
